Homework Help Family Night

Have you ever struggled to help your child with homework? If so, please join us for our homework help family night on Tuesday, January 31 at 6:00 p.m. in the Moniteau High School auditorium. Matt Moran from the Center for Community Resources and Kathy Kline from North Trails Public Library will be sharing ideas for helping your child with homework. We will be serving a light dinner after the presentation. Please RSVP online by Friday, January 20 at 3:00 p.m., and see our homework help flyer for more information.

Free Tutoring Service for Moniteau Students and Families

Announcing a reminder about a free tutoring service! All you need is a Butler County Library Card. The Moniteau School District continues to partner with the North Trails Public Library and the Butler County Federated Library System to offer this wonderful digital resource called Tutor.com. This website provides homework help, tutoring, and test preparation for the SAT, ACT, and more. Tutor.com services are available seven days a week from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

In addition to helping K–12 students at Moniteau School District, this service is available to GED students and other members of our community seeking lifelong learning opportunities.

We cannot stress enough the importance of students having a library card. In addition to Tutor.com, the public library offers access to many other free digital services, eBooks and eAudiobooks, and physical book checkout. We hope that you use this opportunity to help set your child up for educational success.
